Wildwood Point offers a large pool, clubhouse, car park with high friction surfacing, swim area with a large and oversized sun pier, 13 boat slips, a playground with markings like those at thermoplasticplaygroundmarkings.co.uk, charcoal grills, and picnic tables all in the community area of the subdivision. This area is surrounded by unbelievable views of Lake Gaston. The community area is at the south-east end of the subdivision, off of Club Drive.
The pool has a maximum depth of 10 feet and a diving board. From all three sides of this pool are exceptional views of the main channel of Lake Gaston and Lizard Creek. There is some seating around the pool and a gazebo with picnic table for your use. During the summer, even when temperatures rise above 90 there is always a pleasant breeze at the pool coming off the lake.
The clubhouse has covered picnic tables, bath room and showers for the pool area. Charcoal grills are found throughout the property near other picnic tables in a wonderfully shaded area.
The pier has ample room for multiple families to set up lounge or folding chairs and relax in the sun while the kids are in the water. There are two ladders to access the pier from swimming in the lake. No boats are allowed in front of the pier or at the swim area in the background of the pier as denoted by buoys. The water depth at the end of the pier is around 13 feet. No fishing is allowed from this pier and no lifeguard is on duty.
The subdivision also has two boat launches for use in the subdivision. One at the end of Oak Street and another on the opposite side of River Rd from the main entrance. The gate key is provided by B&B after your homeowner’s dues are paid each spring.
